Okay, I’m going to take a wild guess that my fellow Pokénerds are curious about this guide.
It’s called パーフェクトガイド〜サトシ&ピカチュウ冒険ログ〜 (Perfect Guide ~Satoshi & Pikachu Adventure Log~). Basically, it covers movies 1 through 15, in celebration of the anime’s 15th anniversary.
The book starts out with what looks like advertisements for each of the movies. Then the following sections cover the movies themselves (not really sure if they’re just detailed summaries or have behind the scenes stuff; haven’t had a chance to try and read it); they include character biographies too in these sections (sections go from Best Wishes, Original series, AG, then DP).
The movie information is followed by theatrical Pikachu short information (including the Meloetta one) and then Pokémon data.
The final section has keywords in the movies, a timeline of the games & movies, and staff comments.
This is DEFINITELY awesome to own! So happy I got it! >w<
Sorry my hand is in the pictures and that they’re horribly taken. XD I was using my phone in one hand to take them, haha.
Well, since Kotetsu’s English name, Cameron, was revealed today, I decided to make an appreciation post for this kid.
It took me about half an episode to get used to him and an episode and a half for my brain to stop trying to label him as a Pokémon ranger (his physical character design and Riolu just make him look like one to me).
I LOVE this kid! So much! I think the only thing I don’t like about him is that he didn’t show up earlier (and that the writers pretty much wrote him in a way just so people would adapt to him quickly)!
- He’s pretty much bffs with Satoshi/Ash, despite they’ve only just met
- He’s a lot like Satoshi/Ash, but he still has enough of a difference so that he’s not a rip off (not including his physical design, which is very different from Ash’s)
- He’s more scatterbrained than Ash is
- His scatterbrainedness is a constant gag (like Bel/Bianca pushing Satoshi/Ash into water, etc.), but never done for exactly the same situation; it’s slightly varied (pulling out a TV remote, being late for entering the league…)
- He has this character quirk where he pulls his headband out REALLY far and let’s it snap back to think. Yeah, it hurts, but it generally gives him good ideas! (With some bad ones too…I’m looking at you, Satoshi VS Kotetsu part 1.)
- HIS SMILE IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE
- For those who care about voice actors, his Japanese VA did Roxas inKingdom Hearts
I might end up posting more of these. I don’t know. Love this kid. I was hoping the English version would make people like him more, but now I’m not so sure (I’m not a huge fan of his voice, but let’s ignore that). fffff
Still going to love him though regardless.
So, today, I received a gift from one of my online friend’s (she’s from the UK, but currently lives in Japan). It took my mom long enough to get home though and give it to me. When she came home, I went into the kitchen, and grabbed the bag and smiled. I wasn’t going to open it until I walked back in my room, but when I pressed the bag a bit closer to figure out what the item was…my mouth dropped. I quickly went over to the counter, frantically untied the golden pipe cleaner and pulled out none other than the Satoshi & Pikachu PARTNERS figure by Banpresto.
I wanted these SO badly when I found out that they were a reality. I felt though, that I would end up missing them, just like I had missed the Hikari & Pocchama and Hikari & Mimirol figures. I’m surprised they’re still not sold out everywhere, to be honest.
HUGE THANK YOU TO MY FRIEND FOR GIVING THIS TO ME! ;w; I LOVE IT.
Pikachu was a pain in the butt to put into Satoshi’s hood. In fact, I still don’t think it’s steady. If it falls out (and hopefully doesn’t break - pleaseohpleaseohpleasedontbreak), I’m super gluing Pikachu in.
Satoshi & Pikachu replaced this hot-pink-haired chick from Polyphonica (I believe that’s the name of the anime/game/manga?) on my top shelf.
(Moetan will be replaced Christmas Eve or Christmas Day with another figure, hopefully.)

Happy 15th Anniversary by *TrainerKelly
For the 15th anniversary of the Pokémon anime, I drew this picture!
The background is utter crap. =[ I didn’t know what I was doing. And I have trouble with backgrounds anyway.
And I have issues with a ton of things with this picture as well. But oh well.

I might actually give this one a proper colouring one day, I like it that much.
AND THIS IS THE BEST LOOKING PIKACHU I HAVE EVER DRAWN. I’m pleased with myself. =D

…XD;; My stupid imagination was playing tricks on me and showed Kelly was in the screenshot. Haha…
